I began working with wire around my ninth year.  It started with making small wire-men by the dozen and progressed to more sculptural pieces.

I began blacksmithing when I turned thirteen.  I had tried it when I was seven, and really enjoyed the material and process.  When I was thirteen I began taking week-long intensive classes with blacksmithing masters including Uri Hofi, Fred Christ, and Ed Mac.  Following is a selection of some of my work.

Copper is a material I really enjoy working with.  It is much easier than steel in that it requires less heat and less force to move.  The following suit of armor was my introduction to copper.  I set out to make a mask, which became a full helmet, ended up being a full suit of armor.
